About the Journal

The Revista Contemporânea (e-ISSN 2447-0961 / ISSN 2764-7757) has the mission of publishing and disseminating research that brings reflections that present original contributions, of a theoretical or empirical nature, disseminating knowledge in several areas. It is open to different theoretical and methodological approaches and receives contributions from authors from different academic levels. The journal is multidisciplinary.

Authors can be: professors, professionals, students and researchers of any level of training, with the main criterion for publication purposes being the quality of the text. It publishes unpublished articles, translations and essays produced by national or foreign researchers. Submitted texts can be written in Portuguese, English or Spanish.

FOCUS AND SCOPE

Publish research that qualifies the debate on issues relevant to society at national and international level in multidisciplinary areas.

PERIODICITY AND REVISION

The journal publishes issues bimonthly. It adopts the Double Blind Peer Review system.

PROFILE OF THE TEXTS

Authors must consult the publication norms and the formatting indicated in the "submissions" tab before submitting the text. Articles must be original, unpublished and not under consideration for publication in another medium, and may be written in Portuguese, English or Spanish.

HISTORIC

The journal was created and maintained by the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Caruaru (Fafica) until 2021, being printed until 2020. Fafica was founded by the Diocese of Caruaru, through Ordinance of the Diocesan Curia nº 268, of August 9, 1960, signed by Diocesan Bishop Dom Augusto Carvalho, creator of the project.
